Time Table

Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm, Term time, we are open during the school holidays.

Once the children have arrived and settled in, they participate in free play and focussed activities until approx 10.30, when we break for, songs, discussions and snack time. The session then continues with activities or free play, either indoors or outside. Activities include, using the schools gym, forest schools sessions, multi skills activities, music and movement. Then time to go home for the children attending only in the morning.

At 12.45pm children staying for the afternoon session, remain and are joined by the children arriving to start their day. At aprox 1 - 1.15pm we sit together and eat our packed lunch. The session then continues with activities until home time.

We consider it very important for our children to interact with other professionals. These experiences enable and support children to adopt a healthy attitude, towards making positive interactions throughout their lives . Therefore we encourage outside agencies to come in work with the children bringing in new skills such as; Charlotte with her ‘tiny talk’ sessions. Reception Teacher reading stories, Police and health care workers, Students and Parents bring in their skills; music, environmental projects etc..

Children must be provided with experiences and support that will help them to develop a positive sense of themselves and of others; respect for others; social skills; and a positive disposition to learn. Providers must ensure support for children’s emotional well-being to help them to know themselves and what they can do’. (Statutory Framework for the EYFS p. 12)
